Position Overview
The Training & Capacity Development Specialist plays a key role in supporting First Nations communities in building the skills, knowledge, and systems needed to implement and sustain market-based housing programs. Working closely with community leaders, housing administrators, and partner organizations, this position designs and delivers training programs, workshops, and resources that empower communities to achieve their housing goals.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deliver training sessions, workshops, and materials tailored to First Nations housing administrators and leadership.
Assess community capacity needs and recommend customized development plans.
Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to housing staff and administrators.
Collaborate with internal teams to align training initiatives with the Fund’s mandate and business plan.
